Is Theresa May playing it smart or has she lost the plot?
The truth of the matter is, no one really knows what game Theresa May is playing in regards to Brexit and us mere mortals can only try to second guess what her actual game plan is. She has certainly held her cards very close to her chest throughout Brexit but is she playing a smart game or is she simply being misguided by Olly Robbins?
In the General Election of 2017 she most certainly followed the bad advice she was given and the Tories had a disastrous campaign, even though they still managed to win (just), so she has previous of following bad advice but on the other hand it has to be obvious to anyone who has closely followed Brexit that had she tabled a No Deal Brexit then that would have been rejected by parliament instantly. So is she kicking the can down the road and waiting for the clock on the exit negotiations to finish, knowing the likelihood of all 28 member states of the EU agree to extend Article 50 is practically impossible and so it will only leave the No Deal option?
